Paintings
In my series, I explore the errors of contemporary man through various thematic lenses. A central focus is the evolution of humanity as it increasingly manipulates its biotope. I investigate the impact of human thought and action on our environment, considering how these influences shape the persistence of present-day aesthetics or reflect a conscious absence of them.
Nocturnal traces
In this serie, I focus on creating landscape paintings, particularly nocturnal scenes, that capture the ongoing battle between nature and urban development. Through my artwork, I portray still moments in nature illuminated by artificial light at night, whether through close-up views or wide cinematic shots. The juxtaposition of darkness and man-made light serves to emphasize the unnatural struggle we face in our modern world.
Sacrifice of flesh
Drawing inspiration from genre art, these paintings capture detailed close-ups of meat products commonly seen in advertisements. While traditionally synonymous with wealth and abundance, the portrayal of meat now reflects a reality marred by excessive production and consumption.
Silhouettes of conflict
Historic war paintings depicting heroism are being reexamined to uncover the true victims of conflict. Exploring the origins of violence, isolating these scenes from their original context enables viewers to reflect deeply on historical events and extract valuable lessons for the future.
